Alexandra Williamson was the 2021 Artist In Residence at the Wrangell Mountains Center, in the Wrangell- St. Elias National Park, Alaska. Alexandra attended Montclair State University, BFA in Dance. As a child, she started Irish dancing with the Davis Academy (NJ). Alexandra attended the Morris County Academy Visual and Performing Arts. While at AVPA, she was encouraged to integrate contemporary and Irish dance together. Alexandra currently dances for several companies, including Darrah Carr Dance. DCD fuses Irish dancing and modern dance together, a Bessie nominated company, resident company at the Irish Arts Center (NYC), TODAY Show, Good Morning America, tours internationally, and provides outreach programs. Alexandra is on faculty at Hofstra University. @Alexandra_Dances
